Baby Bust

Wired magazine has an interesting article spread on the decline of population, or more accurately the slowing of the population boom. Interesting that this is seen as a bad thing in general, and frankly I disagree. I think that a slowing of population growth is good. The resource consumption of the modern human, particularly the Western human is outrageous. One demographer stated that we would need 4 planets worth of resources to provide every person with the American lifestyle. And everyone wants to live like we do! Read my POP!
