The Metaverse through a Keyholed

Jerry Paffendorf, bless him, continues to throw crazy e-mails at me regarding this Project Keyhole that was just gobbled up by Google. It is a very neat interactive world map system that has the potential for the layering of metadata over it. Jerry and I are talking about filtering systems for the meta-information and hope to make some sort of paper out of this thought. The concept of a Metaverse is really cool, and it was all Jerry’s idea!
