of the future of media and filters. The
thing that scares me the most is the idea of individual filters that everything
is filtered just the way you want it. This
leaves no room for outside opinion and can lead to personal eco chambers. If all you filter in is right wing agenda or
left wing agenda, or just optimistic or pessimistic news you are lying to yourself! You are living in a one sided world that is
filled with half truths, and this is never good.
I feel that as Americans we are so adverse to conflict that
it prevents us from having real conversations about really important
things. We just can not stomach the idea
that there are other opinions out there and that they may be right. The last thing we need is for everyone to
tighten in their personal blinders and look only at what they want to look at.
