After 3 month of ducking the calls I finally listened to the Preferred Long Distance pitch. They represented themselves as AT&T Preferred Long Distance and said they buy blocks of time in large volume and promised me 30% saving on my phone bill. My $18-$28 a month bill sky-rocketed to $67. My first bill covered mid Dec to end of Jan 2012 for $268. So I've tried to call and I'm put on hold. This morning I called and went from caller 2 to caller 1 to caller 6 to 5 to 4 and then they hung up, almost 14 minuets. At&t says they can hold my numbers ransom for 2 months.

To Lorraine Lehman:

It goes much deeper than a vendetta. I have never worked for them and I'm very thankful for that. Going through my day stealing from consumers is not how I would choose to make a living. However, it sounds like you are currently working there. So what if I was a former employee, they make great witnesses against these "boiler room" companies. Who better to give the 411 on these companies. Out of everything I told you that is all you take from it...not much more to say!

Good Day
