Smoothies 4 Me

Wow, the Nike idea sounds like it could be a huge success. In an era of appalling obesity rates (particularly in the US), and children moving away from sports and further toward gaming, this competitive exercise could be THE concept to overpower the mighty gaming world and make exercise and health the lifestyle choice once again.

What needs to happen now is to have this idea expanded upon, to appeal to a wide range of people. This reminds me of the television program 'the biggest loser,' I have only recently started watching it, but truly think this is a revolutionary concept that can combine healthy living attitudes with a competitive/gaming nature that we all thrive on.

Maybe the answer lies with a government push, maybe with corporates such as Nike. All that is certain is that their is an obesity epidemic just around the corner, and developing this community/competitive health concept may be a saving grace.
