The Knot is something that every modern bride seems to know about. It is a site that serves as a registry hub, a wedding information resource, as well as a planning tool. The site continues to spin off additional properties focusing in on life stages with some degree of intrigue and annoyance. My wife and I, satisfied users of The Knot, recently received an e-mail from them pushing a new baby resource called lilaguide. Pressure from family to have kids is enough, now I have the internet pushing me to have kids. My hope is that the Betas stop here, and not go into Schoolpicker, kidclubsports, and so on. It is reasonable to expect things like this to come up. I'll be glad they are there when we need them. But please ... not right now.
