danah boyd and Jeffrey Heer from UC Berkley have created Vizster, another Scan network space, with a twist. Vizster incorporates a new feature which is the visualazation of the network map similar to something that you would find in UCINet, or Inflow 3.0. The visualization of nodes and links is a coveted piece of information, and Vizster is simply showcasing the visualazation of mutually agreed upon relationships. Industry is also curious about other types of networks such as communication and trust, but this is a good start and introduction to social net-workers unfamiliar with mapping tools.
